Clients I Work With
I work with adults 18 and older throughout Texas who are seeking psychiatric evaluation, medication management, or adult autism evaluation. My patients include adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood concerns, trauma-related symptoms, and other psychiatric concerns. I also work with neurodivergent adults, including autistic adults and individuals exploring whether autism may help explain lifelong patterns or challenges. LGBTQIA+ adults are welcome. I especially value working with patients who want to understand their symptoms and treatment options and participate actively in decisions about their care. Services are provided through telehealth, allowing adults across Texas to access care from their own environment.
Approach
My approach is collaborative, practical, and straightforward. I want you to understand what you’re experiencing, what your options are, and why I’m recommending a particular treatment—not simply leave with a prescription. Sessions are conversational and judgment-free, with room to ask questions, disagree, and be actively involved in decisions about your care. I use a person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and neurodivergent-affirming approach, along with education and practical strategies that can be used in everyday life. Medication can be an important tool, but it isn’t the entire conversation. My goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and better equipped to manage your mental health outside of our appointments.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I came to advanced practice nursing later in life, and that experience shaped how I see people and their paths. I don’t believe there is one “right” timeline, one way a life should look, or one definition of success. I value curiosity, honesty, autonomy, humor, and treating people like capable adults rather than diagnoses. I also know that education, credentials, or professional roles don’t make someone the expert on another person’s lived experience. You know yourself; I bring clinical knowledge, questions, and another perspective. I believe people deserve to be taken seriously, especially when they’ve spent years feeling misunderstood or dismissed. I show up as myself, warm, direct, curious, and human, and I want my patients to feel comfortable doing the same.

Zenses Health is a fully telehealth practice serving adults 18 and older throughout Texas. In addition to psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management, I offer comprehensive adult autism evaluations for adults seeking diagnostic clarity later in life. Evaluations include a written diagnostic report, individualized accommodation recommendations, resources, and a feedback session. I accept most major insurance plans for psychiatric services, and self-pay options are available. Because care is provided virtually, patients can attend appointments from a private location that feels comfortable and familiar without traveling to an office. I also welcome collaboration with therapists, primary care clinicians, and other members of a patient’s treatment team when appropriate.

Zenses Health accepts most major insurance plans for psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Insurance participation and benefits vary by plan, so patients are encouraged to verify their individual coverage before scheduling. Private-pay options are also available. Adult autism evaluations are offered as a comprehensive private-pay service for $1,600 and include the clinical evaluation, diagnostic assessment, written report, individualized accommodation recommendations, resources, and a feedback session. Major credit cards are accepted.
