Telehealth Availability:

Telehealth sessions are available throughout the week. Sessions are available on Sundays in Maryland only.

In-Person Availability:

In person sessions are available Monday through Friday in Maryland. I am able to work in person in all PSYPACT states. This allows me to conduct in person evaluations throughout much of the United States. Please contact me if you are interested in having me travel to you.

Clients I Work With

I work with children as young as 4, adolescents, and adults. I conduct a variety of different types of evaluations using a therapeutic, strengths based-approach. These include comprehensive psychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations, diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, personality assessment, assessment with 2E Individuals, & Child/Adolescent/Adult Autism Evaluations.

Approach

I have always believed that psychological assessment was part of the therapeutic process. Psychological assessment is more than just diagnoses and numbers; it helps provide a better understanding of the human experience and can identify a “roadmap” for healing. An evaluation can help the person feel understood, to feel seen. It can further one’s understanding of the self. All of this can help to facilitate change, by identifying patterns and underlying causes of behaviors. Psychological evaluation is therapeutic, it just relies on data and numbers.

Pay It Forward Psychological Assessments, LLC is a testing practice in Montgomery County, Maryland. The practice was founded on the premise that quality mental health services, including psychological testing, should be accessible to all. The primary mission of the practice is to increase the availability of quality psychological evaluations. This is done via a dual commitment to providing high quality, more affordable psychological evaluations along with pro bono assessments. Pro bono assessments are provided to families who are uninsured or underinsured.

More About My Practice

Pay It Forward Assessments is a self-pay practice. We offer pro-bono and low cost evaluations for individuals who otherwise could not afford them. Payment plans are available to everyone through Care Credit.

Psychological assessment is part of the therapeutic process. I conduct evaluations using a therapeutic, strengths based-approach. These include comprehensive psychological, psychoeducational, diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, personality assessment, assessment with 2E Individuals, & Child/Adolescent/Adult Autism Evaluations. I enjoy helping people gain a better understanding of themselves through testing. The process is designed to be therapeutic and collaborative. I do not use trainees, psychometricians, or Ai as part of the process. I will be working with you from the start to the finish. I am PSYPACT and can work in most US states.
