About this provider
Clients I Work With
You may seem to have it all together while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or worn out inside. Perhaps you’re the strong one for everyone else, struggling to set boundaries or make room for your own needs. You may be navigating change, grieving a loss, feeling out of place, or finding that painful experiences still affect your daily life. Medical or dental experiences may also leave you fearful of seeking care.
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can speak honestly without having to explain everything perfectly. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, make sense of your experiences, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded and connected. If faith matters to you, we can include it in ways that honor your beliefs. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on understanding the whole person—your experiences, relationships, physical well-being, and what matters to you. I look beyond symptoms to explore what may be contributing to your struggles, while helping you find relief in daily life.
Sessions with me are conversational and move at a pace that feels manageable. There’s room for difficult emotions, reflection, and humor. I draw from approaches that explore connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, along with grounding, mindfulness, and practical coping skills. We’ll work together to understand patterns, build boundaries, and help you feel more grounded.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
Having lived overseas and supported people through transitions, I understand how change can affect your identity, relationships, and sense of belonging. These experiences shape my curiosity about your story and my respect for the parts of your life that others may not fully understand.
My Christian faith informs my values of compassion, dignity, and hope. I welcome people of all backgrounds and beliefs, and any discussion of faith is guided by your preferences. I value honesty, connection, and making space for both grief and growth. You don’t have to put on a brave face with me. I bring warmth, humility, and a willingness to listen, knowing that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore what healing and meaningful change can look like for you.
More About My Practice
I offer telehealth counseling for clients located in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee, allowing you to attend sessions from a private, comfortable space without the added time of a commute.
I also offer clinical supervision for social workers pursuing clinical licensure in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. My approach is supportive and collaborative, with space to discuss challenging cases, strengthen clinical skills, and develop confidence in your professional identity. Supervision arrangements and pricing vary based on your needs and state requirements.
Please reach out to ask about counseling availability or supervision options. I’m happy to discuss your needs and whether working together would be a good fit.
