Clients I Work With
Have you ever thought: Am I enough? Have you ever replayed a conversation, an argument, or a decision multiple times in your head before falling asleep? Do you sometimes wish you could just enjoy the moment? These are just some ways negative self-talk can creep into your daily life and interfere with what matters most—you, your family, your life.
When you are caught in these spaces, navigating life and its major transitions, things can feel overwhelming. This is true whether you are facing a new job, family building, parenting, or just developing a new sense of self. Working collaboratively, I will serve as a guide to help you gain practical skills so you can start living the life you want to live.
Approach
I understand that when it comes to therapy, one size doesn't fit all. To meet you exactly where you are, I take an integrative approach that builds on your unique strengths. Together, we will focus on practical cognitive strategies to help you challenge, reframe, or unhook from the repetitive mental loops keeping you stuck.
In our sessions, we will take a semi-structured approach—meaning, any framework we use will organically flow through our conversation. This way, we will focus on cultivating skills and bolstering mindfulness in ways that are truly meaningful to you. Additionally, I don't believe in rigid, weekly homework traps; any exercise carried between sessions will be a collaborative choice.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
As a social worker, I have the privilege of working with individuals across various settings and from all walks of life. I pay special attention not only to how you feel internally, but also to how you interact with the world around you. Having navigated my own fair share of life's twists and turns—including infertility and motherhood—has taught me firsthand the power of mindfulness and our internal narratives. With that in mind, my core professional values are rooted in integrity, collaboration, and curiosity—meaning, I recognize that I am not the sole expert on everything, and I deeply value your expertise in your own life. I will prioritize working together to help pause and identify what is truly important to you.
