Clients I Work With

I treat clients with anxiety, depression, and other stressors on a short-term to long-term basis. I have an interest in my clinical heart for clients struggling with "normal" therapy "not working." Researchers have used the term "personality disorder" for a client that has complex struggles- perhaps ASPD, NPD, BPD. If you have had a hard time finding a "right fit" in a therapist, I welcome you!

Approach

I look forward to creating a safe space to help you learn more about yourself, the ones you love, and the world around you. You want to feel better but may not quite know how. I'll listen and guide you towards finding, exploring, and honing the strengths and abilities you already possess – even the ones you’re not aware of! No two people are the same, and their journey towards self-actualization echoes this. I'd love to help you put the pieces together! I have an academic background in psychology and criminal justice and have served a diverse population with a wide range of ages, identities, experiences, and presenting problems in both community and forensic settings. I resonate with an eclectic approach and tailor treatment to the specific needs of individual clients; you are the expert of your own story.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I recognize the ongoing impact of racial violence and microaggressions on people of color and marginalized communities; I am committed to providing identify-affirming support and a welcoming space for individuals of all racial and ethnic identities, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I look forward to meeting you!

More About My Practice

I have been working in community, private, and forensic settings throughout my career and have also worked with justice-involved individuals throughout these environments. I have worked with individuals and groups. If I'm not the right fit for you, I can hopefully point you in the right direction!
