Clients I Work With

You may have spent years feeling like everyone else got an instruction manual you never received. Maybe you've been diagnosed with ADHD or AuDHD recently and are trying to make sense of a lifetime of struggles, strengths, and misunderstandings. You may be noticing burnout, loss of skills, difficulty focusing, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, depression, or a growing sense that the strategies that once worked no longer do. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable adults who feel stuck despite their best efforts. They may be navigating career changes, relationship challenges, parenting, aging, health concerns, or other major life transitions while trying to understand their neurodivergent brain. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, build practical systems, strengthen emotional regulation, and create a life that feels sustainable and authentic.

Approach

My approach is practical, personalized, and grounded in the understanding that no two people experience life the same way. I draw from established therapy methods, current neuroscience, and the growing understanding of how the brain and body work together. Rather than focusing on labels, I focus on you - your experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. I believe that lasting change happens when we understand how our unique nervous system responds to stress, relationships, and everyday life. Humor, storytelling, and relatable analogies are often part of our work together, helping make complex ideas easier to understand and apply. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can gain insight, build effective tools, and move toward a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and authentic.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

As someone who was diagnosed later in life, I understand the unique challenges of living for years with a difference you didn't yet have a name for. I know how validating, confusing, relieving, and even unsettling a diagnosis can be as you begin to reexamine your past experiences through a new lens. That personal experience helps me bring both empathy and practical understanding to my work with neurodivergent clients. I believe that people thrive when they are understood rather than judged. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures. I am affirming of kink, polyamorous, and other consensual relationship styles, and I strive to create a space where clients can discuss important aspects of their lives openly, without fear of stigma or misunderstanding.

More About My Practice

I offer neurofeedback services for anxiety and ADHD at my office in Wales, WI. This treatment has been shown in research to be very effective as a supplement and frequently a replacement for medication along with skills training. It is not covered by insurance at this time.
