Clients I Work With

I specialize in adolescent and adult survivors of abuse and trauma. This includes childhood abuse, sexual abuse/assault, complex PTSD, and medical trauma. Another specialty of mine is chronic pain and illness, including syndromes that are difficult to diagnose and treat. I also particularly enjoy working with folks in the LGBTQ+ community.

Approach

I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on experiencing the present moment and our own emotions without judgment, and with empathy. We then use these skills to take our own personal values as a guide for when and how to take action in our lives. For clients who have experienced trauma, I also employ EMDR.
