I work with adults and couples looking for support along their sexual journey. Most clients are seeking guidance in relation to their possible mismatched desire with their partner, healing through sexual trauma, psychoeducation around sex and intimacy, learning new communication skills to have vulnerable conversations about sex with both themselves and their partner, sexual dysfunction concerns, and more.
Approach
I first and foremost want a client/ couple to feel comfortable in speaking with me. I understand seeing a therapist, especially a sex therapist, can feel overwhelming. I start with where the client is at, and only discuss topics the client is wanting to discuss, at the pace they want to discuss it. I am Gottman certified, and look to their communication methods in a lot of my sessions. I like to offer homework after session, for the client to think more about what was discussed in session, and put some of the thoughts and feelings into actions and real change.

I offer both professional and personal insight into my experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist over 20 plus years. I believe the journey I have been on in my own life through relationships and life changes, has allowed me to be a better therapist to my clients.
