Clients come to me looking for a therapist who understands their struggles because therapy should be a place where you feel seen, heard, and understood. Sessions with me are a place where you can be seen, heard, and validated. Together, we help you find the answers. And we always go at your pace, never pushing you to a place you don’t feel ready to be.
I approach therapy utilizing an eclectic approach including person-centered, family systems, and existential theories. Essentially I view you as the expert on you. We look at the behaviors/patterns you learned in your family of origin and how they patterns continue to inform your relationships. We also look at what is important and meaningful for you to help you see a path forward. I see each client as an individual and attempt to modify my approach for each client.
