Clients I Work With

I work with adults who want to better understand what’s driving the way they feel—not simply manage symptoms. Many of my patients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, burnout, chronic stress, sleep concerns, brain fog, chronic pain, or feeling “stuck” despite trying traditional approaches. I also work with individuals interested in ketamine-assisted therapy, integrative psychiatry, functional medicine, and optimizing their overall mental and physical well-being. My approach is especially well suited for people who want a collaborative, personalized experience and are curious about how the brain, body, hormones, nutrition, nervous system, lifestyle, and past experiences may all be connected. I believe there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution, and I work with each person to develop a thoughtful plan that reflects their individual needs, goals, and comfort level.

Approach

My approach is integrative, personalized, and rooted in the belief that mental and physical health cannot be separated. Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or managing symptoms, I look deeper at what may be contributing to how you feel—including brain health, hormones, nutrition, sleep, inflammation, stress, trauma, lifestyle, and nervous system regulation. I blend conventional psychiatric and medical care with functional medicine, ketamine-assisted therapy, and evidence-informed mind-body approaches when appropriate. Most importantly, care is collaborative. I want you to understand your options, feel comfortable asking questions, and have a voice in every decision we make. There is no one-size-fits-all protocol. My goal is to help you see beyond your symptoms, better understand yourself and your health, and create a plan that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My path into mental health has been shaped by both my professional training and my personal life. Being married to a military veteran gave me a firsthand understanding of how deeply trauma, chronic stress, and the experiences of military service can affect not only an individual, but the people who love them. That experience ultimately pushed me to expand my work into mental health and seek additional training in trauma, integrative psychiatry, brain health, and psychedelic medicine. It also changed the way I think about healing. I’ve seen that symptoms rarely exist in isolation and that meaningful progress often requires looking at the whole person—their physical health, nervous system, relationships, environment, experiences, and sense of purpose. My lived experience brings a level of compassion and understanding to my work that cannot come from clinical training alone, and it continues to shape the way I care for my patients.
