Clients I Work With

Dr. Dos Santos has a particular interest in clients with complex medical and mental health conditions and has pursued advanced training in addressing the mental health symptoms associated with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and Long COVID. Dr. Dos Santos has particular expertise in working with young adults who are transitioning to and managing the stresses of college and young adulthood as she provides strategies and techniques that lead to increased autonomy and independence as well as improved relationships with family, peers and partners. She has a strong background in treating anxiety and depression in adolescents and young adults.

Approach

With Dr. Dos Santos' naturally warm, calm, easygoing demeanor and through her dedication to listening carefully and empathetically, she has cultivated an exceptional ability to connect with young people who are struggling with difficult, often complex issues. She takes the time needed to build understanding and trust, then engages each client in a program of treatment that builds on the client’s personal strengths and addresses pressing concerns. Dr. Dos Santos encourages, supports, and guides her clients as they acquire insight into their thoughts and behaviors. She makes sure that clients acquire practical skills that they can draw upon daily to experience positive change and meaningful transformation in their lives.

More About My Practice

Evolvinn Therapy and Consulting was founded to help meet the demand for mental health care that surged during the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to grow. We are licensed clinical psychologists who help individuals of all ages acquire the insights, tools, strategies, and skills they need to live live confidently, enjoy meaningful relationships, and pursue their dreams and goals. We are particularly committed to helping patients meet the formidable challenges of living with complex, chronic health conditions—conditions that few therapists are knowledgeable and experienced in treating. We offer an extensive array of chronic illness support groups for adolescents, adults, parents and caregivers. We also work with parents, partners and families who seek to learn how they can best support their loved ones. We also work closely with other professional providers to coordinate treatment.
