Telehealth Availability:
Telehealth appointments are generally available Monday through Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Eastern. I understand that finding time for therapy can be challenging, so I do my best to offer appointment times that work with your schedule whenever possible. If you're unsure whether we'll be a good fit, I also offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer your questions and help you decide if moving forward feels right.
About this provider
Clients I Work With
Many of the people I work with are capable adults who look like they have everything together but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted behind the scenes. They often know what they "should" be doing, but still find themselves stuck in the same patterns. I also work with teens, college students, and parents navigating anxiety, perfectionism, stress, and life's many transitions. My style is warm, direct, and practical. Therapy with me is a conversation, not a lecture. I'll ask questions, notice patterns, and offer honest feedback while helping you develop tools that fit your life. You don't have to have everything figured out before you start. Most people don't. We'll work together to understand what's getting in your way and help you move toward lasting, meaningful change.
Approach
I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I'm an active therapist, which means I'll ask questions, notice patterns, offer observations, and give honest feedback when I think something is getting in your way. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, but I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person is different, so therapy should be too. Together, we'll work to better understand what's happening, why it keeps happening, and what changes will help you move forward in a way that feels realistic and lasting.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe most people are doing the best they can with the information, experiences, and expectations they've been given. The people I work with aren't "broken." They're often capable, thoughtful, and hardworking, but have developed patterns that made sense at one point and no longer serve them. I believe lasting change comes from understanding those patterns, not judging them. Therapy should help you make sense of what's happening while giving you practical ways to move forward.
