Clients I Work With

I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions, including changes in relationships, career, and identity. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected despite outward success. I have a particular focus on working with LGBTQ+ clients, especially gay men, supporting them in building self-confidence, improving relationships, and living more authentically.

Approach

My approach is collaborative, practical, and insight-oriented. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as CBT with a focus on helping clients understand patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives. I balance depth and action, creating space for reflection while also offering clear tools and strategies clients can apply outside of sessions. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are while being challenged to grow, increase self-awareness, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My work is grounded in both clinical training and lived experience. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I understand firsthand the nuances of identity, belonging, and the challenges that can come with navigating relationships, expectations, and self-acceptance. This perspective allows me to connect with clients in an authentic and meaningful way. I believe that people are capable of change, even when they feel stuck. Growth often comes from a balance of self-compassion and accountability. Emotions are important, but they are not always facts, and learning to navigate them effectively can create real shifts in how we experience ourselves and the world. At the core of my work is the belief that you don’t have to become someone else to build a better life. You can come as you are, and from there, create meaningful and lasting change.
