About this provider
Clients I Work With
My preferred initial communication is email. My approach to the therapeutic relationship is collaborative. The client is the expert of themselves and my role is to provide the knowledge and skills I have attained to support the clients needs. My clinical interests include treating trauma, neuroaffirming as well as providing LGBTQIA+ affirmative psychotherapy to sexual minorities. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression or past experiences are negatively affecting you, feel free to reach out to see if we are a good fit to work together.
I strive to use my experience, as well as my honest and open style of communication to act as a positive support to help clients fulfill therapeutic and life goals. I primarily focus on helping clients enhance positive traits and feelings as well as strengthening existing skills. I strive to utilize the client's reality and values within the work together.
Approach
I am trained in EMDR and Attachment-Focused-EMDR disciplines in treating trauma-related issues by assisting individuals to overcome distress, trauma, anxiety, or PTSD/CPTSD symptoms. I'm also trained in Biofeedback, Ego State/Dissociation (Parts Work), the Flash Technique, and Intergenerational Trauma to help clients discover relief.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I also see clients regarding digital wellness and problematic screen usage. Tech isn't going anywhere and digital wellness is necessary in navigating our world more effectively.
