Clients I Work With

I work with adults, teens, couples, and helping professionals who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, life transitions, and the pressure of holding everything together. Many of my clients are overthinkers, people pleasers, high achievers, cycle-breakers, or the “strong one” in their family who’s exhausted from carrying everyone else emotionally. You may look successful on the outside while privately struggling with self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, boundaries, communication, trauma, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. I also work with clients navigating identity exploration, attachment wounds, grief, ADHD-related challenges, and difficult relationship dynamics. If you’re self-aware but still stuck in the same patterns, craving healthier relationships, or simply tired of surviving instead of living, you’re in the right place.

Approach

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, honest, and human. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to show up fully — not just the polished version of themselves. Sessions with me are a mix of validation, insight, practical tools, gentle challenges, and the occasional humor when it’s needed most. I’m not the kind of therapist who silently nods while you spiral alone. We work together to understand patterns, process emotions, build healthier coping skills, and create lasting change that actually feels sustainable in real life. I pull from attachment-based therapy, CBT, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, solution-focused work, and emotionally focused techniques to meet clients where they are. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, improve relationships, regulate emotions, and feel more connected, grounded, and empowered in your everyday life.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

Growing up between different cultural identities and family systems has deeply shaped the way I understand people, relationships, and healing. With roots in Irish, Scottish, French, Mexican, and Indigenous backgrounds, I recognize how culture, generational experiences, and family expectations influence the ways we cope, communicate, connect, and survive. I believe therapy should honor the whole person rather than force people into one narrow definition of healing. I understand how navigating different cultural values and expectations can create pressure, guilt, identity conflict, or a feeling of never fully belonging. My approach values authenticity, connection, emotional safety, and helping clients define healing in a way that feels meaningful and aligned for them.

More About My Practice

In addition to individual and couples therapy, I offer clinical supervision, consultation, and support for newer therapists navigating the challenges of the mental health field. My practice is rooted in creating a warm, affirming, and down-to-earth environment where clients and clinicians alike can feel supported while doing meaningful work. I provide both virtual and in-person sessions to help make therapy more accessible and sustainable for busy lives. My office also includes a therapy dog in training, Macie, who may occasionally join sessions for added comfort and emotional support. I strive to make therapy feel approachable, collaborative, and genuinely human — a space where growth, healing, and authenticity can coexist.
