Clients I Work With

Being a kid, young adult, or parent is tough. There are so many stressors and pressures that can create anxiety, self-doubt, and strained relationships. Feeling alone is a hard space to live, but having a supportive guide along the way can make all the difference- this is my goal in working with you. I support children, teens, young adults, and parents with anxiety, grief, life transitions and more. I work as a guide, teammate, and partner. Together we will find what works best for you. There is no one right way and pursuing change takes patience, perseverance, and partnership.

Approach

Being a kid, young adult, or parent these days is tough. There are so many stressors and pressures that can create anxiety, self-doubt, and strained relationships. Feeling alone is a hard space to live, but having a supportive guide along the way can make all the difference- this is my goal in working with you. I believe that no one kind of therapy is best for every client. I use theories that are fitting for my clients' individual needs. My role as a clinician is to help my clients build and navigate their own problem-solving skills. Some modalities I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Client-Centered Care.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

As a parent of two young boys myself, I truly want the best for you and your children. I am here to help as you create a path towards greater confidence, connection, and fulfillment. In my work I help people see patterns that are hurtful, negative, or mistruths. Together we learn new strategies and use strengths to create more happiness and fulfilment.

More About My Practice

I was previously a school counselor for ten years before beginning private practice work. This gives me a unique lens and ability to support challenges across home, school, and community environments. I invite you to get in touch with your questions, concerns, and to share about yourself or your child. I am currently accepting new adult and youth clients and look forward to supporting you along your journey. My goal is to help you feel empowered and ready to tackle whatever challenges you may face. I look forward to hearing from you!
