Clients I Work With

I work with adults, including LGBTQIA+ clients, who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma histories, and patterns that feel hard to shift even when insight is present. Many clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally dealing with chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism, or disconnection from themselves or relationships. I also work with therapists, healthcare professionals, and creative professionals who carry complex emotional loads in their work and need a place where they do not have to perform competence. A lot of the work involves people who are trying to understand longstanding relational patterns or identity-related questions in a more grounded and sustainable way.

Approach

Sessions are structured but flexible, with attention to what feels most present rather than following a fixed script. The work often draws from IFS, ACT, somatic approaches, and attachment-based frameworks, with an emphasis on slowing down enough to notice internal experience as it unfolds. A session may include exploring thoughts and emotions, tracking body-based signals, and identifying protective patterns without forcing an agenda prematurely. The work is collaborative and steady, with a focus on helping clients build internal clarity and more sustainable relationships to difficult experiences.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

My work is shaped by a belief that people develop adaptations that make sense in context, even when those adaptations later become limiting or painful. I hold a non-pathologizing stance toward symptoms and coping strategies, viewing them as meaningful responses rather than deficits. I also center respect for identity, autonomy, and lived experience, particularly for LGBTQIA+ clients who have often had to navigate invalidation or misunderstanding in other settings. The clinical stance is informed by curiosity, consent, and attention to power dynamics in the therapeutic relationship.

More About My Practice

The practice is fully virtual, with sessions offered through secure telehealth. In addition to standard therapy, I also offer intensives for clients who want more concentrated work over a shorter period of time. Consultation and supervision are available for clinicians seeking support with clinical development and casework.
