Clients I Work With
I work with children ages 6+, teens, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, identity development, life transitions, attachment concerns, and family stress. I also specialize in supporting individuals and families impacted by adoption, kinship care, foster care, and out-of-home placement experiences.
My approach is compassionate, trauma-responsive, and developmentally appropriate. With children and teens, I often use play-based, expressive, and skills-based interventions to support emotional regulation, coping, and confidence. With adults and families, I provide space to process experiences, strengthen communication, and move toward healing, connection, and growth.
Approach
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-responsive. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and understood. I tailor treatment to each person’s needs, goals, and stage of life, using a holistic and strengths-based lens.
Depending on the client, I may integrate adoption focused skills, DBT-informed skills, CBT strategies, mindfulness, psychoeducation, attachment-based work, trauma-informed care, and expressive or play-based interventions. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build practical coping tools, strengthen relationships, and move toward healing and growth at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe healing begins in a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. My work is grounded in the belief that every person carries strengths, even when life experiences have made those strengths harder to access.
I value authenticity, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique story. I also recognize that identity, family systems, culture, trauma, relationships, and lived experiences shape how we move through the world. My goal is not to “fix” clients, instead to walk alongside them as they build insight, reconnect with themselves, and move toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
