If you are struggling in life, or just need someone to talk to, do not hesitate to reach out, don't go it alone. Let me walk the journey with you. I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and trauma. Life can be overwhelming and can steal our peace.
Approach
My goal is to help you regain your peace. At the end of the first session I want my clients to leave with a skill they can use and a feeling of hope. I utilize traditional talk therapy, somatic therapies, and Prolonged Exposure therapy. I am also attachment and trauma informed. You will learn about your nervous system and attachment theory and the role it plays in your mental health.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
Many of our problems can be a result of our nervous system. I will help you navigate the nervous system states of fight and flight or collapse. This is often the underlying problem to our emotions. I can help you navigate the world of trauma and grief to help you release emotional trauma with these therapies.
I have seen great results using somatic therapies in my clients that have depression and/or anxiety. I have been trained in Prolonged Exposure therapy which helps individuals who are dealing with trauma. My clients who have walked through PE have had great success. I also add somatic experiences to help move you through the process of trauma and loss.

If you opt for in person, my office is on the 2nd floor of an old farm home so there is no elevator.
