About this provider

Clients I Work With

Most commonly I work with women, LGBTQ+ folks, BIPOC clients, Latinx, immigrants and first generation Americans, veterans, neurodivergent individuals, teens, college students, couples, and high-achieving professionals. My clients are often struggling with not feeling good enough about themselves and comparing themselves to others. They might struggle with body image, feel frustrated with their own patterns of behavior, or experience ongoing difficulties in their relationships. They often find themselves stuck in the same cycles. They might have insight but can’t seem to change their behavior.

Approach

With 15+ years of experience, I help clients navigate life's most difficult moments. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, body image concerns, and relationship issues. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, so that you can make real progress, not just feel like you're talking in circles. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and have extensive training in DBT skills, which are great for managing emotions, tolerating distress, and increasing effectiveness in your relationships. My telehealth practice serves all of FL, so you can access quality health care from the comfort and privacy of your own home, on a schedule that works for you. From the first appointment, I focus on building a genuine connection with you, learning who you truly are, what matters most to you, and how I can meet you exactly where you are.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I am particularly passionate about providing specialized treatment for women of color with eating disorders, a topic I have presented on at national professional conferences. As a Latina immigrant, I am also particularly invested in supporting the needs of immigrant and first generation American clients. I provide psychological evaluations for immigration cases including VAWA, asylum, U/T visas, and hardship waivers, helping clients advocate for their rights and documenting their unique experiences with care and precision. As a woman of color, I am also passionate about supporting BIPOC clients, providing them a safe space where they can show up as themselves, without needing to code switch. I am also deeply invested in serving as an ally for LGBTQ+ clients, advocating for their rights and providing supportive documentation whenever necessary for identity-affirming healthcare.
