Approach
I utilize a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach as we work together on healing from the exhaustion from being constantly on alert and taking care of everything and everyone.
You can learn how to break generational patterns of overwhelm, grief, shame, and guilt to create a happier and meaningful life that aligns with your personal values instead of a life based on what others think you should have, where you can more effectively communicate what you want and confidently say no to the things that you don’t want.
Many of my clients say that after specialized trauma-informed therapy where we use Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems, they have clarity and are more confident in taking action to improve their life. Brainspotting is a body-brain based therapy and Internal Family Systems is also known as parts work.

I can help you move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed, over thinking, ruminating, people-pleasing, and imposter syndrome towards feeling restored, recognizing your strengths, discovering skills to improve your life, and becoming more resilient to life’s challenges. I am trained in therapies that go beyond traditional talk therapy so that we can address unresolved emotional pain and physical stress in ways that are healing and at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
My personal experiences have shaped my work as a therapist. This includes growing up as the eldest daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, living in France as a new mom, advocating for social justice, and parenting my teens.
More About My Practice
You have a lot of choice when working with me. Appointments are either telehealth virtual or in-person if your are in the Atlanta, GA area. Length of appointments can be regular 50 minutes, extended 90 minutes, or 3 hour intensives. Because I am trained in multiple types of therapy, you can benefit from the type of therapy that feels right for you, on the issues you want to work on. Types of therapy I utilize include Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic Approaches, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion.
