Clients I Work With
Many of the people I work with are the ones others rely on, the helpers, the responsible ones, the people who have learned to keep going even when they feel overwhelmed inside. On the outside, it may look like you’re managing life well, but internally you might feel anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are thoughtful, self-aware individuals who have spent years holding things together for others and are ready for a space where they can slow down, reflect, and begin focusing on their own healing.
Many clients come to therapy recognizing that old experiences or long-standing patterns may still be shaping how they feel, relate to others, and move through the world today.
Approach
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in both insight and practical change. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences honestly and without judgment.
Together, we look at patterns, past experiences, and the internal parts of you that developed to help you survive difficult moments. I integrate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, parts work, and mindfulness-based strategies to support both deeper understanding and meaningful change.
While therapy often includes important and sometimes difficult conversations, it doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Humor and genuine human connection are welcome here. Sessions may include laughter and conversations about books, movies, memes, or everyday moments that help us better understand ourselves.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe healing is about making sense of the experiences that shaped you and learning how to carry them in a way that no longer limits your life.
Many people come to therapy feeling weighed down by past experiences, grief, trauma, or patterns that once helped them survive but no longer feel sustainable. Our work together is not about erasing those experiences, but about understanding them, integrating them, and finding new ways to move forward.
Often, the places where we have been hurt become the places where we develop the greatest clarity, resilience, and compassion for ourselves.
More About My Practice
I provide telehealth therapy for adults in Nebraska and Colorado, offering the flexibility to access support from the comfort of your own space. I am in-network with several insurance plans in Nebraska, accept Aetna in Colorado, and offer private pay in both states. My practice focuses on creating a calm, grounded environment where you can slow down and explore what you’re experiencing without pressure or judgment. Sessions often include a balance of reflection, practical tools, and meaningful conversation as we work toward greater clarity, self-understanding, and emotional resilience. While therapy can involve difficult topics, it doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Humor, curiosity, and real-life moments are welcome in the process, whether that means referencing a book, movie, meme, or something from everyday life that helps us better understand your experiences.
