I work with adults seeking online therapy for trauma recovery, complex PTSD, religious trauma, and experiences in high-control groups or coercive relationships. Many clients come to me after years of trying to understand patterns of self-blame, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or identity confusion that often follow psychological manipulation or chronic trauma. I also support people preparing for or integrating meaningful personal experiences, including spiritual exploration or psychedelic experiences, when those experiences intersect with trauma and personal growth.

Approach

Many people come to therapy feeling confused about what happened to them. Experiences with trauma, religious abuse or high-control groups can leave you questioning your judgment, struggling with anxiety or carrying patterns of self-blame. Sessions with me are thoughtful, grounded and collaborative. My work is guided by a trauma-informed lens that helps you understand how these experiences shaped your nervous system, beliefs and relationships. Together we make sense of what you went through and develop practical tools for emotional balance, healthier boundaries and renewed self-trust. I integrate approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems, DBT skills, Brainspotting, SoulCollage™ and somatic awareness, adapting them to your pace and goals so therapy leads to meaningful change.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe healing begins with understanding what happened to you, not asking what is wrong with you. This perspective shapes the way I approach every session. Earlier in my life I became involved in a high-control religious group and spent many years rebuilding my sense of identity and direction afterward. That experience, along with more than 25 years of professional work as a trauma-informed therapist, shapes how I support clients today. I value curiosity, honesty and respect for each person’s autonomy. My goal is to create a space where clients feel understood and where difficult experiences such as trauma, religious abuse or coercive control can be explored without judgment. This informs my commitment to trauma-informed care, ethical practice and helping people reclaim their own inner compass. My conviction that you can move beyond trauma is rooted in my own recovery experience.

All services are offered online. My goal is to make support accessible to people across the United States who are seeking thoughtful guidance as they move forward in their healing.
