Clients I Work With

People often come to therapy feeling exhausted from carrying too much for too long. You may feel stuck in survival mode, disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed in relationships, struggling with trauma, grief, anxiety, dissociation, burnout, or painful patterns that keep repeating despite your insight and effort. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, attachment wounds, relational struggles, life transitions, and loss. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years “holding it together” while feeling emotionally overwhelmed underneath. I work with adults, teens, and kids as young as age 5.

Approach

Therapy with me is active, relational, and grounded in creating a space where you do not have to perform, “hold it together,” or navigate difficult emotions alone. I work from a trauma-informed lens and believe many symptoms make sense in the context of what someone has lived through. Sessions often focus on helping clients slow down, understand their nervous system responses, process painful experiences safely, and reconnect with themselves in a more grounded and compassionate way. I integrate approaches such as EMDR, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), attachment-focused work, and equine-assisted therapy to support healing that goes beyond just talking about problems intellectually.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, emotionally safe, and not judged for the ways they have learned to survive. My own lived experiences with grief, loss, healing, and rebuilding have deeply shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I have lost several close friends to suicide, and my sister to an overdose. I understand that healing is rarely linear and that people can hold both pain and resilience at the same time.

More About My Practice

I offer in person services in CO in an equine assisted setting. Virtual to CO, TN, and WY clients. I offer grief groups (specific topics rotate--sibling loss, pet loss, etc.)
