Clients I Work With
I work primarily with queer, neurodivergent, and/or traumatized adults. I work with individuals who do not neatly fit inside a box, but rather live outside the box. I work with anyone over the age of 18 who is able to meet virtually. I love working with clients who identity as or suspect that they are neurodivergent and/or queer. I also enjoy working with clients who have experienced trauma, especially complex trauma, and are ready to start unpacking it and begin healing.
Approach
I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and collaborative lens. I believe that you are the expert in your story, and are the leader of your therapy. I want to hear from you about your experiences, your concerns, and your wants and needs from therapy. I do not use any modality to its full fidelity; rather, I take bits and pieces from a variety of modalities to find the best approach for you and your needs. I will always be trauma-informed, queer- and neurodivergent-affirming, and ready to support without judgement.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe that the current capitalist system running our country is not helping anyone. Life is expensive, the American Dream is simply inaccessible, and oftentimes what’s happening outside of our homes is even more stressful and traumatic than what’s happening inside our homes. I do not believe in pathologizing normal reactions to abnormal situations. If you are stressed, scared, worried, or feeling let down by the current state of the world, you are not alone. I am here to hold space for all of you, especially the parts that society feels to shun.
