Clients I Work With
I work with high-functioning adults and couples who may look successful on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship wounds, burnout, overthinking, perfectionism, grief, or a deep sense of disconnection from themselves. Many of my clients are helpers, creatives, professionals, therapists, musicians, caregivers, and highly sensitive people who have spent years holding everything together for everyone else. I also work with adults healing from childhood trauma, attachment wounds, narcissistic abuse, emotionally immature family systems, and experiences that still live in the body long after the events are over. My practice is especially supportive for clients who want more than traditional talk therapy and are drawn to experiential, somatic, creative, and trauma-focused approaches that help create lasting emotional and nervous system change.
Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and deeply experiential. I integrate EMDR, Brainspotting, Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT), Psychodrama, parts work, somatic approaches, EFT couples therapy, and expressive arts and music therapy techniques to help clients move beyond insight alone and create meaningful change at the nervous system level. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore the deeper patterns, attachment wounds, protective strategies, and survival responses that may be keeping you stuck. I work gently and respectfully, understanding that healing happens best when clients feel emotionally safe, seen, and empowered. Therapy with me is often active, creative, relational, and deeply attuned, helping clients reconnect with themselves, their emotions, their bodies, and the relationships that matter most.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I believe healing happens in relationships where people feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and free to show up as their full selves without shame or performance. My own lived experiences have shaped the way I work, giving me deep respect for the complexity of trauma, anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, relationship wounds, and the ways people learn to survive difficult experiences while still appearing “high functioning” on the outside. I value authenticity, creativity, curiosity, compassion, and the mind-body connection in the healing process. I also believe therapy should honor each person’s individuality rather than forcing them into a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is grounded in both professional training and real human experience, allowing me to meet clients with warmth, humility, and deep empathy.
More About My Practice
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, faith inclusive, neurodiversity affirming, and committed to anti-racist and trauma-informed care. I strive to create a space where clients of diverse identities, backgrounds, belief systems, and relationship structures feel respected, welcomed, and emotionally safe. I understand that culture, identity, spirituality, family systems, and lived experiences all shape the healing process, and I approach this work with humility, curiosity, and ongoing commitment to learning. My therapy dog, Finley, is often present in the office and brings a calming, grounding presence that many clients find comforting and regulating. Whether through traditional talk therapy or more experiential and somatic approaches, I aim to help clients feel more connected to themselves, their bodies, and their relationships.
