Clients I Work With

I work with late teens, young adults, adults and older adults and welcome LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC, and cishet white folx. We may be a good fit if you are struggling with relationships (including with self), transitions, spirituality, trauma, anxiety, depression or substance use. I support people from many walks of life and have specific experience working with other therapist/healer-types including First Responders/hospital workers, college-age individuals, and artists.

Approach

While many of our sessions may include traditional talk-type therapy, I also incorporate Mindfulness, Gestalt, and Somatic Experiencing into my work with clients. I have a certificate in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and in Trauma-informed Yoga and I am a Beginning level Somatic Experiencing Practitioner student.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I am originally from the east coast and after a bit of wandering landed among the Rocky Mountains. While my upbringing was pretty traditional, I was raised to discover my own spiritual beliefs. I found that traveling and meeting people was one phase of that seeking. Now my internal journeys are where I find a quieter knowing. At home I am dedicated to movement and mindfulness practices as they continue to show me who I am and help me stay grounded in change. These practices are the foundation of my work with clients, allowing me to sit with and hold space for others. I have a degree in Visual Arts and am a maker and artist. I am an avid cross country and alpine skier in the winter months and in the summer I enjoy working in my garden, backpacking, fly fishing, and seeking out pools of water to cool off in!

More About My Practice

My spacious office is wheelchair accessible and my seating options accommodate lots of different body shapes and sizes. I supplement the ample window lighting with floor and table lamps (no fluorescents). I have snacks (gluten free options!), water and tea available and low key background music. Yoga mats, blankets, and other comfort items are available to hug, smush, or pet. If words are not available to you, I offer drawing and painting materials to help you express what can not yet be said.
