Clients I Work With
I work with adult individuals who come to therapy for a myriad of reasons. Some clients come to therapy knowing exactly what they are struggling with. Others arrive with a more general sense that something isn’t right — that life feels heavier, harder, or less meaningful than it once did. Both are welcome here. Many of my clients are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, chronic stress, insomnia, fear, isolation, low motivation, self-criticism, trauma, anger, and relationship difficulties.
Approach
My approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I draw from somatic, narrative, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), mindfulness-based, solution-focused, and attachment-based therapies to support emotional healing and meaningful change. I believe the mind and body are deeply connected, and I help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, and past experiences influence daily life. Therapy may include education about the mind-body connection, building awareness of emotional and physical cues, and learning practical skills to regulate difficult emotions. Together, we work to reduce distress, strengthen resilience, and help clients feel more empowered to reach their goals.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
Counseling was a mid-life career change that allowed me to combine formal education with years of lived experience, compassion, and perspective that only time can teach. I believe each client is the expert of their own life. My role is not to direct or define your path, but to bring professional knowledge, clinical training, and evidence-informed skills that help create a safe and supportive space for exploration and healing. I value therapy that honors the whole person — mind, body, emotions, relationships, culture, and lived experience. I work to help clients make sense of their experiences, recognize patterns, and develop tools that support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change. I am committed to providing ethical, inclusive, and trauma-informed care grounded in collaboration, trust, dignity, and respect.
