Clients I Work With
Sometimes life feels harder than it should. You may be doing your best to keep up with work, relationships, family, and everyday responsibilities, yet still feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or frustrated with yourself. Perhaps you find yourself wondering, “Why can't I just do it?” “Why am I always behind?” "Why do little things overwhelm me?" I work with adults experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, ADHD, and the challenges that often accompany major life transitions. These challenges can affect much more than productivity—they can impact relationships, self-esteem, sleep, and the way you see yourself.
Approach
I provide evidence-based skills to help you manage difficult emotions, regulate your nervous system, navigate relationships, and approach challenges more effectively. My goal isn't to change who you are, but to help you understand yourself better, work with your brain rather than against it, and find tools that make life feel more manageable.
When our stories do not get listened to or honored, it can create a deep sense of aloneness. Therapy is a relationship where we collaborate to listen to you, the client, in order to find solutions within the particularity of your own story. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, attachment-based, skills-oriented, and solution-focused.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
Counseling was a mid-life career change that allowed me to combine formal education with years of lived experience, compassion, and perspective that only time can teach. I believe each client is the expert of their own life. My role is not to direct or define your path, but to bring professional knowledge, clinical training, and evidence-informed skills that help create a safe and supportive space for exploration and healing. I value therapy that honors the whole person — mind, body, emotions, relationships, culture, and lived experience. I work to help clients make sense of their experiences, recognize patterns, and develop tools that support emotional regulation, insight, and meaningful change. I am committed to providing ethical, inclusive, and trauma-informed care grounded in collaboration, trust, dignity, and respect.
