Approach
CBT-I is a strategic (but very counterintuitive) step-by-step approach that is considered the gold standard, first line treatment for insomnia. It's highly effective, and it's not just another patchwork of "tips" that end up falling flat. Though it does have a little in common with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT-I is a distinct approach with a powerful sleep healing focus that is distinct from regular CBT.
I know it can sound impossible when you've been struggling for months or years and tried what feels like everything. Clients are often shocked when they finish treatment, not just that it worked, but how efficient it was.
This isn't about patching together tips and hoping something sticks. It's about understanding what's actually happening in your body and giving it the conditions it needs to remember what it already knows how to do.
