Veterans, active duty, first responders, and their family members. This includes perfectionists and people who feel burned out, irritable, stressed, and emotionally detached from people they care about most.
Approach
I want people to end each session with additional skills and tools you can use in their daily life to increase your resiliency. Strategies include stopping negative thoughts and replacing them with truth, as well as finding a sense of purpose.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
I've spent my life living around active duty members, veterans, and first responders, and most of my therapy career has been working with this population. I've personally experienced the uncertainty of this lifestyle and want to give back. Living in a military family throughout my life taught me resilience, and I want to help others feel confident even when in difficult situations.
More About My Practice
I use kindness and humor in sessions, but I believe in being direct. I will work help you to identify and overcome the challenges you face.
