I believe that most emotional pain comes both from difficult life circumstances and how we perceive those events. I work in an open, warm, collaborative and empathically challenging way to help people better explore, understand and wrestle with the issues that are keeping them from finding more peace, joy, freedom, understanding and fulfillment. More specifically, I try to help people respond to their life circumstances in a more flexible, creative and thoughtful way than they have been doing with their old patterns of reacting to and approaching their life. I also see difficult emotions as important challenges that can help us try to ultimately be more loving to ourselves and others.
