About this provider

Clients I Work With

As a clinical mental health counselor, I help clients better understand themselves and develop meaningful coping skills. Over the past five years, I have supported individuals through crisis intervention, resource navigation, trauma, and complex family and relationship dynamics. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, and recognize that therapy is most effective when it is personalized to clients’ unique needs. I value working with individuals from all backgrounds and strive to incorporate culture and identity into therapy. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults, and welcome clients of all ages. I am committed to ongoing learning and am expanding my work through specialized training.

Approach

I use psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, and narrative therapies to help clients explore how past experiences may be influencing present patterns and develop new perspectives. I am also EMDR-trained and have completed foundational training in OCD. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, collaborative, and open-minded; my priority is to create a safe space for you.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

As a former athlete, I value the connection between mental and physical health and enjoy incorporating this into my practice. I integrate mindfulness, grounding, relaxation techniques, and art-based activities to support mind‑body connection and emotional regulation. Reaching out for therapy is courageous, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward your goals.

Additional Credentials & Training

- EMDR-trained through the Therapist Education Institute (TEI) - Certificate of completion of foundational training in OCD through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) - Certifications in Psychological First Aid, Disaster Mental Health, and Psychological Recovery - Certificate of completion from the Gottman Institute: “I feel like we’re just roommates.” Integrating Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Sex Therapy
