Clients I Work With

On the outside, you look like you have it all together. You’re capable, dependable, and the one others turn to. But underneath, you’re anxious, overthinking, and carrying a constant mental load that feels hard to put down. I work with high-achieving women and overwhelmed moms who are tired of people-pleasing, second-guessing themselves, and feeling like they’re never quite doing enough. Many of the women I support learned early to manage others’ emotions while pushing their own aside, which now shows up as guilt, difficulty setting boundaries, and a harsh inner critic. You may have insight into these patterns, but still feel stuck in them. In our work together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s underneath, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control in your day-to-day life.

Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel real relief, not just temporary coping. Sessions feel like a space where you can exhale and not have to hold everything together. I work especially well with high-achieving women and overwhelmed moms who are used to pushing through, even when they’re exhausted underneath. Together, we slow things down and make sense of the patterns that keep showing up. I help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected so you can begin to shift cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, and pressure. I also support you in getting clearer on what you want and building confidence in your decisions. When it fits, we can use EMDR to help your brain process past or ongoing stress so it feels less intense, allowing you to feel more grounded and like yourself again.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

I believe that so many of the struggles high-achieving women carry make sense when you understand where they come from. Patterns like overthinking, people-pleasing, and feeling responsible for everything don’t just appear. They’re often shaped by early experiences, expectations, and the roles you learned to take on. I see therapy as a space to gently unpack those patterns without blame or judgment, while also helping you move forward in a way that feels more aligned with who you are now. I value showing up as a real person in the room. I’m engaged, honest, and grounded, and I believe meaningful change happens within a strong, trusting relationship. You don’t have to perform or have it all together here. You get to be fully human, while still working toward the kind of life that feels calmer, more balanced, and more like your own.

More About My Practice

I offer virtual therapy for women across North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Idaho, and Vermont, making it easier to access support from wherever you are. I have daytime availability and offer both ongoing therapy and EMDR for clients who are ready to go deeper and create lasting change. In addition to individual therapy, I offer group therapy for women who want connection, shared support, and a space to feel less alone in what they’re carrying. I also provide consultation and speaking for professionals and organizations around topics like anxiety, burnout, boundaries, and the mental load many high-achieving women experience. If you’re not sure where to start, we can talk through what makes the most sense for you.
