Clients I Work With

Hi! I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner in Florida. I have been in healthcare for over 25 years as a clinical nurse and executive leader. I have found tremendous results in listening to patients needs, and formulating a plan to help them optimize wellness with a solid roadmap to feeling the best they can be in a positive environment. Empathetic and strong, I have worked with many clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, Post COVID issues, grief, suffering, or self-image issues. I also do relationship counseling and couples therapy. Many clients range from kids through older adults and anywhere in between. My passion is People, helping them to be their best self!

Approach

Having a strong faith and resiliency in my personal life, I have found my approach to improving the emotional health and wellness of others comes from starting with a good foundation and plan to meet the goal of my clients. I have over 35 years in patient care, wellness, leadership, and behavioral health experiences and am able to quickly assess and plan a framework for a beneficial plan to help you feel better to achieve realistic goals to improve emotional, and mental well being. My grounded and thoughtful approach has helped to positively impact many clients from all over the country in all walks of life.

Beliefs & Lived Experience

In our first session, I like to get a bit of solid background information and learn about sleep, eating, activity. Then I want to learn what are your short term goals wanting to achieve from care, and then 1 or 2 long term goals forward. It will be how we will plan a framework that works for you to review each week or month if you feel we are progressing or need adjustments. I like to have one or two sessions first, review some lab work to see how to best optimize a plan that is going to work for you in treatment.

More About My Practice

I enjoy working with a real mix of clients in a holistic and integrative approach. I feel it is important to optimize and fuel the body in order to maximize results someone hopes to achieve. Each client is unique and needs a personalized approach to provide a toolkit of techniques to improve the journey. I have very flexible hours to work day, evening, or weekends to take the stress away of how to fit in therapy into one's life virtual or in person. Having personal experience with several types of trauma is why I believe we can best work together to help you on your journey. I have had strong exposure and experience with children, teens, and with niche's of frozen shoulder, overachieving syndrome, trauma, Post-covid, long haul, and, workplace bullying & violence. Relationship rebuilding, and self-esteem are also a niche.
