About this provider
Clients I Work With
I work with therapists, working professionals, firefighters, police officers, first responders, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, work-life balance, and major life transitions. I specialize in supporting individuals who spend much of their lives caring for others, managing high-pressure responsibilities, and balancing personal and professional demands. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can prioritize their own well-being, develop healthier coping strategies, and build more fulfilling, balanced lives.
Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you feel relief as quickly as possible. We start with a conversation about what’s going on, what’s working, and what you’d like to change. Together, we create a plan with clear, achievable goals to help you move forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Art Therapy to tailor our work to your individual needs. Therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. It’s about building a connection, finding tools that work for you, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Beliefs & Lived Experience
My approach to therapy is conversational, down-to-earth, and focused on meaningful change. We talk openly, laugh, occasionally swear, get curious about what’s really going on, and work together to identify patterns and practical solutions.
Using CBT, DBT, Gestalt Therapy, Art Therapy, and reality testing, I’ll validate your experiences while also challenging beliefs and perspectives when needed. I’m especially passionate about supporting women, helping professionals, first responders, and those who are used to caring for everyone else.
My personal belief? Sometimes the world just sucks. I’m not going to sugarcoat it or tell you to look on the bright side when things are genuinely hard. But I’ll sit beside you, help you watch it burn when necessary, and figure out how to make some damn lemonade from the lemons life throws your way.
We’ll start where you are, make a plan, find some humor in the chaos, and work toward helping you feel better.
More About My Practice
At Creative Art Therapies and Wellness, we believe great client care starts with caring for our clinicians. We prioritize connection, collaboration, growth, and showing up for one another. We’re more than a group of therapists. We’re a community that values people first. When our clinicians feel supported, that care naturally extends to our clients, with a little creativity, humor, and heart along the way.
